Divine Mother and Child Health Program was held at Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Health Centre, Muddenahalli and Prashanti Bala Mandira School at Chikkaballapur.
Current mother care in our rural areas needs to be improved which would prevent pregnancy or delivery related deaths of both mothers and infants. Divine Mother and Child Health Programme is a primary health care initiative with focus on preventive care for pregnant women and children with an objective of Healthy Mother begets Healthy Child. Totally free of cost, high quality care and free-of-cost nutritional supplements for expecting mothers and children are being provided.
This is one of the most important service activities undertaken to ensure rural upliftment and transformation.
