credit access

CreditAccess India Foundation is a Section 8 non-government company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of CreditAccess Grameen Limited. CreditAccess Grameen, known by its brand "Grameen Koota," is India's largest NBFC-MFI (Non-Banking Financial Company-Microfinance Institution), primarily focused on providing micro-loans to women, especially in rural India. The foundation is responsible for implementing the corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives of CreditAccess Grameen, with the goal of supporting communities and driving long-lasting change.

CreditAccess India Foundation's CSR efforts are centered around four key areas: Education, Healthcare, Livelihood, and Rural Development. These identified, high-impact areas are chosen to create significant, sustainable improvements in the communities served by the foundation.

In partnership with the Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust and the Department of Women and Child Development (WCD), CreditAccess India Foundation supports the distribution of SaiSure Choco Malt, a nutritious supplement, to 3,226 children diagnosed with Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) in 2024-25. This initiative is implemented in Anganwadis across the districts of Chamarajanagar, Haveri, Dharwad, Bagalakot, and Yadgir, aiming to improve the health and nutritional status of these vulnerable children.

The collaboration with CreditAccess India Foundation and the Department of Women and Child Development exemplifies the commitment to addressing critical issues like Severe Acute Malnutrition in children. By providing SaiSure Malt to thousands of children across multiple districts, the foundation significantly contributes to improving the health and well-being of some of India's most vulnerable populations.
