Meeting with IRS Commissioner & Secretary to the Chief Minister, Arunachal Pradesh, 12th April 2022

On 12th April 2022, Mr. Anand K Kadali, Secretary and Trustee of Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust, met Mr. Sonam Chombay – IRS Commissioner to Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh & Joint Secretary (Cabinet) to explore options to start SaiSure Morning Nutrition in state of Arunachal Pradesh.

Mr. Nalong Mize – BJP General Secretary, assisted to establish liaison with the IRS Commissioner-cum-Secretary and the Education Commissioner. The agenda of the meeting with Mr. Sonam was to discuss the start of pilot program in the form of SaiSure and milk solids for 1000-2000 children. A draft copy of MoU was shared along with the details of MoUs already being implemented in other states. The introductory meeting with the Education Commissioner of Arunachal Pradesh, Ms. Padmini Singla also went well. Anand briefed both the commissioners, how daily morning nutrition can make a difference to the children in terms of improved immunity, enhanced cognition, optimized weight gain, increased bone mass & healthy blood count. He also provided details about how Annapoorna Trust is serving the rural children in collaboration with respective state governments since the last decade in line with POSHAN Abhiyaan and National Education Policy. Looking forward to start the program very soon in the state.
