Thank God it’s Friday! West Bengal ends the week with a sumptuous offering of milk, bananas and cookies to 25 children of the Rashabehari School. All’s well that ends well. Watch this space to know what’s on the breakfast menu for Annapoorna children throughout the country.
Friday saw the coming together of Annapoorna, Government officials and community to start the breakfast programme for the 150 children of Government Primary School Yedira. The villagers had approached us earlier bringing to our notice the plight of their children, most of whom would miss breakfast every morning simply because they could not afford it….
