Free medical camps and Grama seva in Chikkaballapur, Bagepalli, Bangalore Rural – November 2016

First level health screen camps and dental screening of children under Annapoorna Breakfast program were conducted benefiting 6000 children. These child health screening programmes are designed in line with the guidelines issued by the World Health Organisation and aligned with the specifications spelt out in Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram – the National Children’s Health Programme, formulated by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

 

Grama seva was conducted on November 18th where all the devotees, delegates, students participated to distribute food and clothes to the villagers.

As the saying goes, ‘Hands that serve are holier than the lips that pray,’ the volunteers had an opportunity to distribute food and clothes to the under privileged selflessly.
