Devastating landslides have struck the hilly areas near Meppadi in Kerala’s Wayanad. The death toll is sadly rising and over 200 people have sustained injuries. Around 9,000 people have been relocated.

The full extent of the tragedy remains unclear as some areas are still being cut off.

Many individuals are homeless taking refuge in relief camps. Food and basic essentials are in urgent demand.  The situation is particularly critical for infants, children, and women, who require immediate attention and support

In this critical time, Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust is sending relief kits with ration needs for a family for 1 full month. 

Every bit of support can provide much-needed relief, especially to vulnerable groups so that no one in distress has to struggle with hunger.
