In the 2023-24 period, LG has collaborated with Annapoorna Trust to provide morning nutrition to 25,802 government school-going children across Karnataka, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.
In 2024-25, the Morning Nutrition initiative is expanding its reach, serving 1,18,866 students across 1,835 schools. In Karnataka, the program provides Ragi with milk, while in NCR Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana, the offerings include Biscuits, Moong Dal, Banana, Chikkis, and SaiSure. In Haryana, SaiSure is provided with milk. This diverse and nutritious menu ensures that children receive essential nutrients, tailored to regional preferences and needs, further supporting their health and educational outcomes.
Impact of Morning Nutrition Program
The Life's Good Nutrition Program, launched by LG in partnership with Akshaya Patra and Annapoorna Trust, aims to benefit over 59,202 children across 808 schools in India. This initiative addresses childhood malnutrition and supports the cognitive and physical development of school children by providing nutritious meals that include variants like SaiSure with milk, biscuits, and chikkis.
