With the partnership of the government at Tirupati under the leadership of Hon’ble MLA, Sri Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy garu, Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust has commenced the Annapoorna Breakfast Programme that provides free breakfast to needy school children typically, those attending rural government schools across India.
On Jan 19, 2022, Sadguru Sri Madhusudan Sai, Founder, Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust, announced the launch of Breakfast service for 50,000 school children in the rural part of the greater Tirupati area. Annapoorna currently provides free Morning Nutrition to 500,000 school children across 19 states and 3 UTs, with plans to continue expanding to more under-served regions, once the schools resume, post the current pandemic.
Breakfast Service has now commenced in the Tirupati region, beginning with pilot schools across 6 Mandals, and will continue to expand geographically in the weeks and months ahead.
