BIAL focuses its CSR activities on preserving the environment and community at large. And gives utmost priority towards the improvement of education, healthcare, and integrated development of communities in Devanahalli taluk.
As a goal to promote sustainable development of the rural people of Devanahalli district, they have built about 5-6 schools, providing education to 13000 children, thereby creating a positive impact. In addition, they have also launched various programs like Namma Ooru (Our Village) for skill development, Namma Arogya for healthcare, Namma Nela – Namma Jala (Our Land – Our Water) for water conservation, etc.
The journey of Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust Organisation with BIAL began in early 2018, after both the organizations discovered a joint interest in providing morning nutrition to school-going kids. Initially, they sponsored the distribution of biscuits to around 110 or 120 schools in the Devanahalli district.
Later, they administered funds to provide cooked breakfast to about 60-70 schools in the Devanahalli area. This program was designed to improve rural and underprivileged children’s health and in line with the motto of our organization, “Let no child go to school hungry ever!”
