Grocery kits distributed to govt. school cooks in Sircilla, Telangana

After distribution of grocery kits over last couple of days in Mustabad mandal and Bibinagar district, Annapoorna team in Telangana today distributed grocery kits on June 12th, to 150 needy families of government school cooks in Sircilla town in the state whose lives have been unsettled and unstable during these hard times.


Annapoorna Trust in collaboration with ‘Rural India Supporting Trust’ (RIST) and ‘Partnerships For Change’ (PFC) has been reaching out to the needy population in rural India, which is now reeling under the second wave of COVID-19. This relief programme would benefit 15,000 families of Government school cooks in various states.


Each beneficiary will be provided with grocery kits containing 10kg of rice, 2kg of wheat flour, 1 kg of toor dal, 1kg channa dal, 1 litre cooking oil, 2kg of sugar, 1kg of salt, vermicelli, along with spices such as chili powder, jeera, mustard and turmeric.
